Hot for Me and Hot for Trees!

Hot for Me and Hot for Trees!

Cutting Down Damaged TreesAs summer approaches I think two thoughts….Hot for me and Hot for trees!

At times the heat & humidity will become so stifling and intolerable all I want is relief. Well, our trees are the same way. They too need relief from the inevitable onslaught. Two key practices can go a long way in bringing relief to trees during the stresses of summer.

Water & Nutrients ….of coarse!

In April we ran an ad in the local newspaper concerning those two elements. Below you will find information that I believe will be greatly appreciated.

What Is Deep Root Feeding?

Beginning at the drip line, Deep Root Feeding injects water, nutrients, insecticides and other soil amendments below the surface and directly into a trees root zone where most absorbing roots are located.

Woodsman Tree Care Service TruckBenefits Of Deep Root Feeding:

  • Strengthens trees that have been stressed by disease, insects or drought.
  • Below surface process breaks up the soil, creating an easier path for air, water and nutrients to get to the root zone and throughout the tree.
  • Environmentally friendly – it reduces erosion, evaporation and fertilizer run-off.

Note: Keep in mind that nutrient formulations that are administered during the spring will be different than those administered in summer.

Contact Us today if we can help take care of your trees this summer.
